3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by the following service provider:

The server log data is generally deleted after 14 days, unless longer retention is required to investigate a specific security incident.

Where required, a processing on behalf (data processing agreement) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This protects data you transmit to us during transmission from unauthorised access by third parties.

6. Project enquiry via the contact form

On our website, you can send us a project enquiry via a form. The following details may be processed:

• Confirmation of the privacy information

Name, email address, project description, and confirmation of the privacy information are required so that we can process your enquiry. The remaining details are voluntary.

The information submitted via the form is sent as an email to the responsible contact address of GERMAN PRINT GROUP GmbH. The website theme used does not permanently store the form contents in its own WordPress database.

To protect the form from automated misuse, a verification token that is not directly readable is generated from the IP address and stored temporarily. This verification token is automatically deleted after about one minute. The theme does not use an external captcha system.

Processing is carried out to handle your project enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as it concerns pre-contractual measures or an existing contractual relationship. Otherwise, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR is the legal basis. Our legitimate interest lies in handling your enquiry and protecting the form from misuse.

The details will be deleted as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively processed and there are no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for further storage.

7. Multilingualism and technically required cookies

The WordPress plugin WPML is used to provide the German and English language versions.

Depending on the WPML configuration, the cookie wp-wpml_current_language may be stored in particular. It contains the currently selected language and enables the correct delivery of the desired language version. If automatic browser language detection is enabled, the cookies _icl_visitor_lang_js and wpml_browser_redirect_testmay also be used.

These cookies are used exclusively for language selection and the technically correct display of the website. They do not contain any directly identifying information.

Storage or reading, insofar as technically strictly necessary, is carried out on the basis of Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. The associated processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the user-friendly and technically correct provision of the multilingual website.

The WPML cookies used are deleted either at the end of the browser session or after expiry of the configured storage period, depending on the respective configuration.

8. WordPress administration area

Cookies that are required exclusively for logging in to and using the non-public WordPress administration area only affect authorised users of the website. In particular, they enable login, session management, and securing the administration area.

9. Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be transferred to the following recipients to the extent necessary:

Personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area only if this is expressly stated or an appropriate data protection legal basis exists.

According to the current design of the theme, no analytics, maps, video, font, or captcha services from external third-party providers are integrated. Plugins installed later or external content must be separately reviewed under data protection law before use and added to this Privacy Policy.

11. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose.

In addition, data may be stored if statutory retention obligations exist, legal claims must be asserted or defended, or a data subject has consented to longer storage.

Once the respective purpose no longer applies and existing retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted or anonymised.
